Choose from one of two available Ring Protect plans. The Ring Basic plan provides basic functiopns and remote access for the Alarm system, as well as one Ring doorbell or camera.
For better protection, choose the Ring Plus plan, that provides 24/7 professional monitoring as well as enabling multiple Ring devices. It also includes cellular back up and extends the warranty on your Ring devices.

RING OF SECURITY
Boost your security by adding Ring Cameras or a Ring Video Doorbell. Plus the doorbell will let you know when visitors arrive or a package has been delivered, with push notifications to your smart phone(s). The doorbell and cameras use the same smart phone app, making the system super easy to use for the whole family. With a doorbell or video camera and Ring plan you'll be able to see live video, get notifications when motion or people are detected, and see video history.

Is a Ring Protect plan required? Technically no, without a subscription the alarm will work as a local alarm and will sound a siren when triggered. But in order to receive alerts, control the security system, or integration with Alexa you'll need to subscribe to one of the plans.
Is Ring Protect available in Canada? Yes, Ring Protect plans are available in Canada with the exception of Quebec.
Is the Ring Home Alarm easy to install? Yes, the alarm is meant to be do-it-yourself friendly, using wireless sensors that can screw or stick to door and window frames so most users can install it themselves as long as they are reasonably handy and can work a smart phone.
