Keystone jacks are used in patch panels and wall plates. These inserts typically have a 110 type punch down connection on the back and RJ45 connection on the front for Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a or Cat7 patch cables leading to switches, servers, computers, phones, etc.
Keystone jacks may be unshielded or shielded for enhanced interference rejection.
