HDCVI recorders are a great way to upgrade older analog over coax systems to support newer high resolution cameras. The recorder will support the older CCTV cameras, also known as CVBS, allowing the user to add high def CVI cameras as time and budget allows.
HDCVI is also marketed under other terms like XVI for example.
