FloodStop Appliance Leak Prevention

Floodstop systems are point of use automatic water shut off valves with water leak sensors that protect from costly damage caused by water leaks due to broken or burst pipes, water supply lines or failing appliances.  FloodStop water sensors are placed around the area to be protected and the FloodStop automatic water shut off valve is connected to the water supply line(s).  These point of use water leak detection and flood prevention systems are used with dish washers, hot water tanks, washing machines, fridge water dispensors, sinks, toilets, water softeners, etc.

When water is sensed, the FloodStop system sounds an alert and automatically closes the water valve to shut off the water supply.  This way even if no-one is around the system automatically reacts and reduces or prevents water damage.  In addition the FloodStop system has an "output" that can be connected to an alarm system, telephone dialer or automation system to alert the home owner, property manager or property owner to the problem.
