Bullet security cameras are rugged and tend to be used for outdoor weatherproof applications.  Most of our bullet cameras are rated to IP65 or IP66 standards to be completely weatherpoof.  Also the sun shield on most bullet cameras will provide extra protection against rain, snow or direct sunlight when the camera is aimed on a downward angle.

Bullet cameras are available with fixed lenses, manually adjustable varifocal lenses and some have motorized zoom lenses.

As technology has moved to high definition, some of these cameras also support newer formats like HDCVI or HDTVI.  

We strongly encourage you to look at the HDCVI section for options to upgrade your recorder while maintaining support for analog cameras, so you can migrate to newer high definition camera models.  Those newer sections of our site have a more comprehensive list of cameras.
