Holiday Toy & Food Drive 2022

We're teaming up to support the Durham Regional Police Services' 34th annual Food and Toy Drive.
Until December 21, we are accepting donations for new unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items to support the local community and spread holiday cheer.
Drop off your unwrapped gifts and food items, and we'll get them to the DRPS. There is an increased need for food this year, as the food banks have seen a decrease in donations, but the need continues to grow due to higher food costs. Come and support the Durham Region community!

Not sure what food to donate? Here are some ideas:
- Grains such as rice, pasta, granola bars
- Canned or dried fruits and veggies
- Fruit snacks & cups, jello pudding, applesauce
- Canned or powdered milk, milk alternatives
- Lentils, legumes, beans
- Canned meats or fish, soups/chilli
- Cooking oils, herbs & spices
- Boxed instant meals
Toy ideas could include:
- Books
- Sports equipment (E.g. soccer ball, basketball)
- Board or card games
- Train sets, race cars
- Dolls
- Art supplies
- Stuffed animals
- Lego or building blocks
