Insteon Update Sept 2022
Insteon users are waiting somewhat impatiently for good news from the new CEO Ken Fairbanks. The current state of affairs is that the servers are up - so Insteon Hub users are able to use their hubs - but it is now a subscription based model. Insteon is working on some initial supply which is expected to be basic dimmers, switches, keypads and possibly plug-in modules. It's possible that this first shipment will not include PLMs. Insteon is currently offering a repair service for older broken hubs and may extend this to PLMs if they cannot secure new stock.
From Aartech's perspective we have had conversations with the "new Insteon" and are awaiting news of product availability and pricing. At this time we have neither confirmed so we cannot start accepting orders.
We have released a small quantity of keypads and dimmers for sale. These are brand new units that we had reserved to look after some straggling warranty issues. These will be sold with a 30 day DOA warranty only, on a first come first served basis for anyone looking to purchase some spares or replacements.
We'll keep you all posted when we have more news to share!
