Biometric Fingerprint Readers
Biometric security provides a convenient secure way of identifying users and allowing access accordingly. Our Fingerprint Readers are meant for security and access control.
Fingerprint scanners are either used for stand alone access control by connecting them to door strike directly, or as part of a larger building access system as an input to the access control system.
STAND ALONE FINGERPRINT SCANNERS
For stand alone access control applications the fingerprint reader will use a relay output to control a door strike or mag lock. It may use low voltage power or PoE power.
FINGERPRINT READERS FOR ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS
For connecting to an access control system, fingerprint scanners may use a weigand output to allow it to connect it to the input of a door controller. It will also generally be powred by the door control's power connections.
IRIS SCANNERS | EYE SCANNERS
Iris scanners or eye scanners use the "fingerprint" of the human eye for access control and security. These eye scanners are used for stand alone security as well as part of a larger access control system.
