The MDU intercom systems install at the front entrance or lobby and can communicate with tenants by way of telephone, smart phone app, VOIP or SIP integration depending on the model used.
Telephone based models will connect to a standard POTS telephone line and will call the tenant at the number programmed for their unit.

IP network based multi tenant intercoms use a network connection to communicate from the entance, front door or gate. They can provide audio and video feeds to tenants. They can also unlock doors and gates remotely and provide access control.
